With strong grassroots support from individuals of all backgrounds, NCAM works towards a brighter future for Islam, Australian Muslims, and the broader Australian society.

The National Council of Australian Muslims (NCAM)’s mission is to enhance understanding of Islam, protect civil rights, promote justice, and empower Australian Muslims by advocating for their concerns, challenging discrimination and Islamophobia, and building mutual understanding to safeguard human rights and civil liberties for all.
Core Principles
NCAM supports fundamental freedoms, including free enterprise, freedom of religion, and freedom of expression, for all Australians.
NCAM believes core Islamic values align with Australian principles such as equality, freedom, inclusiveness, and justice and the active practice of Islam enriches the social and religious fabric of Australian society.
